I have the honour to refer to Your Excellency's despatch No. 1 in 3515/1925 dated the 11th December,

1929, on the subject of the proposed transfer to the

service of the Hongkong Government of Dr. R. B. Jackson

and Mr. Deb and to inform Your Excellency that the

terms mentioned therein are acceptable to the officers

concerned.

I would ask however that as long notice as

possible of their transfer may be given.
